4/26/14
I spent a couple hours creating a look that gave an almost realistic infected look. I first covered my face with a white grease paint; only enough where the skin looks naturally paler. I then applied a mixture of blue and purple and red grease paint from a bruise wheel onto the bottom of my eyes, to create a sunken in eye/tired/sick effect. I also applied this mixture to the sides of my nostrils and under my nose as well as the corners of my mouth. I added some neutral colored concealer and applied that onto my lips to give a pale look and also dry up my lips to give a sickly look to them. After the pale and sick look was done, I then added "veins" that looked visible to give the infected look. As easy as this sounds, it took a while to get the perfect shades and the more realistic look.
